About
I’m Brendan Alan Clarke, a designer and artist from the UK. I founded (and run) a little design company called Visionary Scope and I also co-founded Cobalt Records.
I’m currently helping to run, post and administrate Red Dawn Studio, an inspiring, entertaining and sometimes educational guide to art, design and new media, when I’m not writing cynical musings for FN Hate, a blog dedicated to being very grumpy about things.
I write a lot and maintain a few other web-based projects, such as editorial work on the ‘RSPCA Conventry District & Branch Newsletter’, as well as running a donation-run community called Draglide. I sometimes help out and immerse myself in other projects with friends.
I have worked as a journalist for PS3 Vault, a satirical writer for Face Jolt and for other sites such as the former STDP7.
My traditional art projects are based around dry media and the primacy of drawing, which I have been interested in for many years, whilst my digital artworks are based around glitches and malfunction.
Hobbies and interests include, art, design, photography, reading, writing, technology, music (creating & listening), films and more. If you’d like to know anything else about me, contact me.
