Young Blood song by New Zealand band The Naked And Famous from their upcoming album Passive Me, Aggressive You (album art is fantastic too, see it on their site).
I love the video (directed by Special Problems) and I love the music too.
Part 1 of 3 videos to accompany Russ Chimes’ Midnight Club EP. The video is well made and tells a very interesting story, although anyone who reads my blog may experience deja vu.
This has been covered by a few sites already and whilst I really do like it, I can’t help but notice that it is very similar to the Cinnamon Chasers video I posted last year.
Part 2 is expected next week and part 3 the week after.
Update: Part 2 is now available and has been posted.
I was really disappointed that I didn’t get to see the Perseid Meteor Shower last week (when it was at its peak) due to a combination of cloud and light pollution. However, this video makes up for it.
We take life for granted sometimes, oblivious to the fact that our existence and our home-planet is both a miracle and insignificant in comparison to the vast expanses of the universe.
There are things that we cannot even fully understand yet and things that our brain finds so very hard to comprehend, like the hyper-giant star that is around 2 billion miles in solar radius, black holes or magnetars.
We moan and groan, become depressed and get ourselves down at the smallest of things, so sometimes it’s good to just stop and appreciate.
An excellent and macabre/dark short film set in a convenience store, directed by Dan Brown. Also, some of you may notice that it features actor Rider Strong from Boy Meets World.
Please note the video has a few brief naughty scenes, so be careful who you watch it with (or where).
Directed by Ramin Bahrani and voiced by Werner Herzog, this short film follows a discarded plastic bag on his arduous journey around America to find his maker and the emotional realisation of his own immortality.

A new modern incarnation of the popular Looney Tunes cartoons are making a come-back to our screens.
I remember watching these cartoons as a child and I adored them, it’s good to see that a new generation of children will also have the opportunity to see them.
Of course, the cartoons have been extensively modernised and whilst I still appreciate the classics, this is really interesting. I like what I’ve seen so far. I don’t believe these are a replacement as the classic cartoons haven’t become irrelevant; I feel that this is an extension to an already great running cartoon.
If anyone wants to complain about, let me just remind you that we have seen worse. And for those who are intrigued, check out the video below.

It isn’t a particularly new video, I watched it a month or two back now, but it is well worth watching and taking note.
I use Things for productivity (and have sworn by it for quite a while), but this looks really interesting. The video is also very well made.
Check out the EpicWin website for more details.
This is one of the most wonderful things I’ve seen musically for quite a while. It’s possible that you’ve already seen it because it’s currently going around the Internet quickly, but if you haven’t – watch it.
See his other videos on YouTube too.
